Abstract:
In today’s business the economic pressure is constantly increasing. Managers and engineers are asked to do more with less. To achieve this goal, tools are created by business schools and academia. This presentation focuses on the parts of a company that contribute to its economic and technical success. A key question is, “How are technology and the carriers of technology handled?”. Especially now when the work force is undergoing an aging process and a new generation of engineers is entering the field, this topic becomes increasingly more relevant.
